Lobby Experience


Overview

Electronic Arts is one of the biggest video game companies. They wanted a physical experience to accompany a website to celebrate their 40th anniversary for employees to enjoy.

1,200 game tiles line the walls. Visitors can use kiosk to search for games by genre, platform, year, or franchise. The resulting games are illuminated on the wall. Each game tile has a QR code that directs to the game’s detail page on the website timeline.

On separate kiosks, visitors can play emulated games or watch videos from the library.

Content strategy, content design, and taxonomy.


Challenges

  1. Does the copy use in the website timeline translate well to the physical space? Are there terms or titles that are too long?

  2. Do all the filters ensure an immersive experience?
